A bitter feud inside Britain’s hardline neo-nazi movement has erupted into allegations of informants, police infiltration and even an alleged plot to murder a senior White Vanguard figure.

The latest claims emerged after the amateurish, far-right ‘Right Side’ podcast recently used an interview with White Vanguard leader Kai Cunningham to address allegations that he is “a fed”.

The allegation is that he was “turned” while he was detained by Counter Terrorism police when returning from a trip to Belfast last year.

It was this allegation that was largely responsible for Aryan Front splitting from White Vanguard in late 2025.

Serious allegations

In the podcast, Cunningham denies it, but lets slip that he has been party to conversations that, if he were a “fed”, would certainly have led to arrests. And he challenges his anonymous accusers to put up proof.

His denials were quickly followed by a series of posts from the ‘TruthNukes1488’ account, apparently written by someone with close knowledge of the White Vanguard/Aryan Front feud, who has been needling Cunningham with veiled threats to expose him for weeks.

The posts are deliberately cryptic but contain increasingly serious allegations.

One post, in July, alleges that there was a plot to kill White Vanguard’s “2nd in command”, Portsmouth-based Declan Young, who was apparently accused of being an informant.

‘Do him in’

The most serious allegation, however, is that Cunningham himself was involved: that he “set up his ‘2nd in command’ for a ‘splinter group’ that he ‘doesn’t agree with’ to do him in…”

Searchlight is not able to corroborate this and we are not suggesting it is necessarily true; we are simply reporting it as an accusation which is being made within these neo-nazi groups .

It does, however, echo allegations – also unsubstantiated – which have been swirling around the White Vanguard/Aryan Front milieu for months.

Plot hatched

The accusation reportedly began as a systematic attempt by White Vanguard to identify whoever was leaking information from inside the organisation.

Suspicion eventually fell on its deputy leader, Declan ‘Dotty’ Young.

According to the rumours circulating, some Aryan Front members demanded action against Young and a plan was hatched to kill him in woodland after a Patriotic Alternative rally in Warwick last February.

Police warning

However, it is claimed that Young was visited by police and a served with an Osman warning, issued when police believe an individual faces a credible threat.

He was also warned to stay away from the Patriotic Alternative demonstration.

‘TruthNukes1488’ alleges that Cunningham disappeared “off grid” for several weeks last year, after his detention by police, and returned as a supposed state “asset”.

Aryan Front leader, Jared Allpress, used a recent X space discussion to echo this allegation, repeatedly asking why Cunningham, despite his detention, has never been charged with anything

Cunningham is said to have admitted he told counter-terrorism officers “everything” when he was stopped, though he later backtracked, claiming that he lied to them.

Raids and arrests

Other posts accuse him of compelling White Vanguard members to turn up at demonstrations “face out” so that they could be photographed by the police.

Those suspicions contributed to the split that produced Aryan Front. Since then, Aryan Front has experienced raids and arrests, including of its leader Jared Allpress, further fuelling its members’ belief that someone inside the movement is passing information to the authorities.

The ‘TruthNukes1488’ account subsequently posed the question to an AI platform whether someone who plans or discusses a crime which never happens has nevertheless committed an offence. The answer given was ‘yes’.

Terrorist offence

It then specifically asked whether a political group conspiring to murder someone would constitute a terrorist offence, and whether such a group could be proscribed. Again the answer was ‘yes’.

Cunningham’s response was brief and to the point; “Shut up u gimp”.

Young has apparently succeeded in convincing White Vanguard that he is not an informant.

He has subsequently been accepted back into the organisation and promoted to co-leader.
